VILLARD-DE-LANS, MTB HISTORIC RESORT

Served by the TGV stations and highways of Grenoble (30 minutes) and Valencia (45 minutes), 90 minutes from Lyon and less than 4 hours from Paris by public transport, Villard-de-Lans is the capital figure of Vercors.

Villard-de-Lans represent the flagship resorts in France. With time, cares will be erased to make way for tourism. It has always evolved, offering its visitors the adequate infrastructure to the practice of traditional mountain activities as to current trends as was the case in 1987 with the arrival of the first World Championships MTB of history.

Supported by many shops and restaurants open all year, through its accommodation meets the expectations of all types of customers, the aquatic center, ice rink, bowling, casino, modern and comfortable lifts open to pedestrians and bikers, the village has preserved its original charm ...

The main square, the Bear area, as they say here, is the icon. The old town that sits there, transformed into a Heritage House, gives it its authenticity.
